He/Him/His(/They/She)
Licensed Professional Counselor
I am the psychotherapist & founder here at Neuroqueering Counseling Services. I am a white, queer, trans, non-monogamous, multiply neurodivergent, multiply disabled human, advocate, & therapist.
As an Autistic ADHD'er whose special interest is mental health, I highly value lived experience & incorporate it with my clinical training. I know firsthand what it's like to sit on the other side of the therapy room, & I welcome feedback about my clients' experiences.
I approach therapy with an affirming, non-pathologizing lens, as I believe in difference, not disorder. I specialize in working with folks with OCD/anxiety, trauma, & neurodivergence to build self-trust, stay in the present, & reconnect to your real, authentic self.
As a therapist, I believe that my role is to act as a support to clients & to follow your lead. Understanding the value of lived experience, I honor the strength, wisdom, & intuition inside of you, & I aim to help you access & lean into that. I aim to provide clients with a safe space where we can explore, sit with, & process your emotions, thoughts, core beliefs, & lived experiences. I enjoy helping clients who are on a journey of self-discovery to explore & embrace their identities.
Because there is no “one-size-fits-all” in therapy, your therapy sessions are tailored to you. In our work together, I utilize an eclectic approach, drawing from I-CBT & ACT to help you take back your life & reconnect with your real, authentic self. I firmly believe in the freedom that comes from embracing mindfulness, acceptance, and a commitment to values-based living. Because of that, I incorporate these principles into my daily life.
